Digital Design

Image
Sooooo random thought... "Digits" refers to numbers (obvi) and yet in medical terms, "digits" also refers to the fingers.  Seeing as these are digital designs, made with my fingers while using a computer which speaks in code - aka numbers - exactly which "digit" are they really referring to? DISCLAIMER: These are the musings that come about at around 4am going on T-64 hours without coffee, all serious readers be advised. Ok but seriously though, I need answers, someone, anyone! I know someone besides Google knows. In the meantime, please enjoy these lovely digital (ha) pieces.

Missed you guys! So as the title suggests, I totally have some new stuff to show you. Between work, internship and the (very) occasional ballet class, it's a wonder I haven't fallen asleep mid-post. Nevertheless, here you all are, :-).

Hello there Compatriots! It has been quite awhile to put it mildly. I must say, time sure flies when you're working 9-5 (or in my case, 3-11....whatever...), pursuing your passion, all while still trying to have a life. No biggie. I, however, despite the ardor and crazy, am back! And with my return, I bring you... Updated sketches! I present to you...finally the fruits of my labor, aka, concept designs that never quite made it anywhere but my portfolio, which, for now, is good enough. Gaze upon them! May they fill your optic nerves with wonder....ok, so its technically your lens that takes in the information....actually no, that's the occipital lobe...aaannnd there goes the witty train leaving me on the platform....all aboard the nerd train! As I was saying before my defunct session in anatomy and physiology, gaze upon my creations, and let me know what you think!

Shoe Project!

Hello there! So in the spirit of my new blog it occurred to me that I can't official call it by that name unless I am actually blogging. Here is my first topic: New York Fashion and it's Global Effect (sounds boring but stick with me here). The title above is merely an idea in the making, please ignore.... So my next assignment is for a reputable company and could change my life forever (no pressure!). I need to pull from as many resources as possible to reach my desired end - to create a concept shoe that could be sold now that would at the same time represent the brand that I am hoping to work for in the very near future. Here are a few of my current inspirations: So as you can see there is plenty to work from, and yet this makes my job no less daunting...how will I fare in this stressful regard? Time will soon tell, will keep you posted (haha, pun totally intended...)
